END OF A CENTURY BOOK COVER DESIGN
I created this cover design for Paul Carnahan's novel End of a Century.

I was commissioned to design the cover for Paul Carnahan's End of a Century, a love story set in Glasgow and London during the summer of 1995. The story follows Des, a recently single 1960s obsessive, who discovers a love letter hidden inside a vintage suit and sets out to track its original owner. This quest brings him closer to Poppy.

After reading the book, I wanted the cover to feel retro without simply recreating the 1990s. I used bold colour, graphic shapes, and typography alongside the vintage suit at the heart of the story.

‘When it came to designing a new cover for my second novel, Gail was my first and only choice. I’ve been a massive fan of her work for quite some time, so working with Gail on “End of a Century” was a dream come true. Her ideas were fantastic, and the beautiful results speak for themselves. I can’t wait to work with Gail again on future projects!’
